The two time EMMY nominated TV Special "Beyond Celtic", presented by Irish Music Award winner, Michael Londra, captures the spirit of Celtic music in this live musical performance. Shot in the historic California Theatre in Los Angeles in 2011, the variety show utilizes Londra's 16-piece orchestra, Irish legend Frankie Gavin and his Celtic super group De Dannan, the musical sisters of Sephira, and some of the top Irish dancers in the world to take viewers on a musical journey immersed in Irish culture.


The star and host of this theatrical event is world renown Irish tenor, Michael Londra. As native of Wexford, Ireland, Londra became a leading man in musical theater in Dublin playing many roles throughout his career including Bobby Kennedy in the world premiere of JFK. Londra also sang lead in first Riverdance tour of North America 1998, as well as Riverdance on Broadway in 2000 and 2001. His latest version of "Danny Boy" was described by The Irish Emigrant as "One of the best recordings of Danny Boy in history." warranting over 6 million views on YouTube. (


With Dr. Travis Fox producing, "Beyond Celtic" also earned the company three Telly Awards for "Best Lighting", "Best Set", and "People's Choice". Dr. Fox, , who formed Mindfox Productions in 2007, has worked on "The Fab Four - The Ultimate Tribute", a 2012 PBS special, Ethan Bortnick and His Musical Time Machine in 2010, is a Hollywood veteran who has ppeared on a variety of programs, including ABC's "One Life to Live," Talk Soup, The Nashville Network, Resorts Networks, and The Golf Channel. He was the creative mind behind "Beat the Bogey Man", the first golf show in public broadcasting history, and has also been featured on "The DewSweepers" and "Speaking of Golf" radio programs on the Sirius/XM's PGA Tour Network.


The TV special was directed by Mark H. Lucas who is one of the leading directors of concert films in North America. His credits include both the 39th and 40th Daytime Emmy awards, as well as TV specials for Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, Kings of Leon, Keith Urban, John Mellencamp, John Mayer, and The Stroke among others.


The musical genius behind the production was Steve Skinner, who has produced, programmed, and arranged with Arif Mardin on multiple Grammy award winner recordings. Skinner has also worked with Desmon Child, Ric Wake, Keith Diamond, and Steve Lunt on projects with Bette Midler, Celine Dion, R Kelly, Diana Ross, The Bee Gees, Judy Collins, Patti Labelle, and also arranged the musical RENT and co-produced the cast album.
