Kyle Dillingham & Horseshoe Road
Get ready for a high energy, uplifting musical experience that blends captivating virtuosity and heartfelt sincerity. This very eclectic Americana band is full of surprises, and the group's passion for music can be seen in their performance. Horseshoe Road is the 2011 International Acoustic Music Award winner in the Bluegrass/Country category.
In 2008, Horseshoe Road completed a U.S. Embassy sponsored tour of Thailand, which commemorated the 175th anniversary of relations between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Thailand. It was the first time an American band had ever performed in four of the five cities they toured.
They celebrated Oklahoma’s centennial internationally through their performances on a tour of Japan and Thailand. They also filmed a documentary of this tour as an official OK Centennial Project, and performed 33 shows at the 2006 Oklahoma State Fair Centennial Expo on the Oklahoman Stage.
Opening for the Oak Ridge Boys was one of the many highlights of 2012, as well as the Charlie Daniels Band in 2013. Kyle and Horseshoe Road were selected by the U.S. State Department for a 5 week world tour through Taiwan, South Korea, Burma and Russia as part of the American Music Abroad program. Out of 300 bands nationwide, Horseshoe Road was one of 10 chosen for the 2012-2013 season.
Because or their overwhelming success with American Music Abroad, Horseshoe Road came highly recommended the following year to perform a July 4th concert for the President of Liberia, and tour that country as a part of the Cultural Crossroads program through the US State Department.
